ourselves

We first worked together at Target in strategy and then in consumer research, synthesizing our knowledge of people into marketing and product strategies.

We loved that so much, we founded Seed Partners to help a variety of clients adapt, grow and thrive. Prior, we each had our own long and winding road.

jen olson
Undergrad and graduate degrees from small (but mighty) liberal art schools. Jen’s miscellany of “hats” include: in-store merchandiser, international teacher, researcher, analyst, marketer, trend scouter, synthesizer, writer, and strategist. Don’t get her started on raw material futures.

Always curious, expressive, adventurous – her house is full of art, books, dog toys, and unopened cooking gear (which someday she will learn to use).

nicole bergeron
Economics BA from Penn followed by a Strategic Management MBA from Wharton. Jobs starting at age 12, too many to mention. Highlights include Vice President at the ad agency that launched a leading bank’s online operations, almost every function of Retail, and leading Target corporate strategy projects.

The redhead inside makes Nicole a wee bit sassy and restless for new things to learn, try, taste, traits she and her husband hope their daughters learn.

rachel matney
Yale MBA and consulting for the McKinsey empire produced an actual framed award for her marketing work.  Infusion of her rabid interests in tech and neuroscience into Target’s consumer research and strategy team yielded profitable white space opportunities.

Arguably overcommitted to pro bono gigs to save the world, Rachel recharges by reading with her husband and two daughters and walking everywhere.
